Job summary

Harford County Public Schools seeks a Paraeducator – Special Education – Early Intervention at Youth’s Benefit Elementary School to support instructional programs and student needs.

The role involves implementing lesson plans, data collection, and assisting with IEPs/IFSPs, both in person and via digital platforms. Full-time, ten months; starting salary $28,482 and up to $47,769, plus a $2,500 stipend and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff.
• Able to follow teacher plans and support instruction for individuals or groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist students during instruction and with data collection, testing, and assessment.
• Implement IEPs/IFSPs under teacher supervision.
• Support with personal care, behavior plans, and safety procedures as required.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with school-wide duties and events.
• Work with students both in-person and virtually as needed.
