Job summary
Zen Educate Inc. is hiring Para Educators in Avondale, AZ to support students with special needs in a full-time role.
You will assist licensed staff, help students meet IEP goals, and maintain a positive classroom environment. This position offers weekly pay, professional development, and benefits depending on role and location.
Applicants should have 60 credits or an associate degree, English proficiency, and US work authorization. Sponsorship is not available at this time.
Qualifications
- 60 credits, Associates Degree, obtained a passing score on an ADE assessment or ParaPro/Praxis exam.
- 1+ years experience working with children.
- Experience with children with special educational needs.
- Experience with personal care.
- IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Applicants must have professional proficiency in English.
- US Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities
- Assisting licensed staff in the classroom.
- Aid students in meeting their IEPs.
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Work with individuals and/or small groups during activities and assignments.
- Provide support for students in crisis and assist with community outings.
