Job summary

Zen Educate Inc. seeks Para Educators to support students with a range of special needs in a Phoenix classroom. You will work under teacher supervision to reinforce instructions, assist with assignments, and foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements include 60 credits or an Associate degree, ADE/ParaPro/Praxis eligibility, and 1+ year experience with children. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 60 credits or an associate degree are acceptable.
• Passing score on an ADE assessment or ParaPro/Praxis exam.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in the classroom.
• Aid students in meeting their IEPs.
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Work with individuals or small groups on activities.
• Provide support for students in crisis.
• Support students on outings by driving into the community.
• Use varied learning methods to enhance student experiences.
