Job summary

Zen Educate Inc. seeks paraeducators to support students with a range of special needs for the 2026–2027 school year in Arizona. You will assist with differentiated instruction, help implement IEPs, and contribute to a positive classroom learning space.

Responsibilities include supporting licensed staff, managing transitions, and aiding in crisis situations. Requires 60 credits or an associates degree, English proficiency, and an IVP Level 1 clearance; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 60+ credits or an associate degree and passed ADE assessment.
• 1+ year experience working with children.
• Experience working with children with special education needs.
• IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in English.
• US work authorization; Zen Educate cannot provide visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in the classroom.
• Aid students in meeting their IEP.
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Work with individuals or small groups during activities and assignments.
• Provide support for students in crisis.
• Support students on outings by accompanying them into the community.
• Use diverse learning methods to enhance student learning.
• Celebrate the students you’re working with.
