Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid teacher's license with endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Plans collaboratively with general education teachers to ensure access to core curriculum.
• Prepares lessons and other materials using data while considering individual needs, goals, abilities and learning levels.
• Instructs students in core curriculum using scaffolding, differentiation and audiovisual aids.
• Collects data to evaluate progress, records results, and informs parents of progress.
• Provides a continuum of services as documented in the IEP.
• Delivers intense, evidence-based interventions with fidelity.
• Maintains positive relationships with parents, teachers and students.
• Participates in meetings and professional development.
• Maintains availability for meetings outside instructional day.
• Represents the school positively in the community.
• Keeps necessary records and acts per regulations.
• Adheres to district employee conduct.
