Job summary

Washington County TN School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide educational services for students with diverse abilities. This full-time position requires the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and close collaboration with school staff and parents.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a valid teaching license acceptable to the Tennessee Department of Education. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation as per federal and state regulations and adapting lessons to meet the needs of individual students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid license with appropriate endorsement from the Tennessee Department of Education.
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver educational services for students with disabilities.
• Develop and maintain student IEPs.
• Conduct parent meetings regarding student progress.
