Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid TASN (NCLB) paraprofessional license or equivalent
• CPR training required or to be completed as a condition of employment
• 60 semester hours of college credit or successful paraprofessional exam (Work Keys or Parapro)

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with various disabilities under supervision of a Special Education teacher
• Support daily living skills and personal care for students as needed
• Take notes and maintain basic written reports; monitor behavior and assist with field trips and activities
• Operate or use classroom tools and equipment such as photocopiers and AV devices as directed
