Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Associate III in Cleveland, OH, working Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This non-licensed role provides general laboratory support under supervision, following established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of laboratory experience required.
• 4-6 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Chemistry, or Microbiology required or evaluated.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing, e.g., sample racking, aliquoting and tube preparation.
• Labels, handles, processes, or prepares specimens and ensures proper transport and storage.
• Identifies sample problems and assists in resolving with appropriate staff.
• Prepares testing equipment and assists with preventive maintenance; notifies staff of issues.
