Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Associate II in Cleveland, OH for a Tuesday to Saturday night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The role supports general laboratory operations and sample handling in a non-licensed capacity.

Responsibilities include sample preparation, data entry, inventory management, and adherence to safety policies. Eligible for annual bonus and shift differentials up to 15% for third shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science or Chemistry (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of laboratory experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good typing speed and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing, e.g., sample racking, aliquoting and tube preparation.
• Labels, handles, processes or prepares, and transports specimens.
• Identifies sample problems and helps resolve issues.
• Prepares testing equipment and assists with preventive maintenance.
• Assists licensed personnel or supervisors in pre-analytic and post-analytic testing activities.
