Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Lab Associate II in Cleveland, OH, working Thursday to Monday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The role supports clinical laboratory auto chemistry with responsibilities spanning sample prep, labeling, transport, and data entry into LIS.

Qualifications include 1 year of lab experience; preferred are histopathology or cytology exposure and PHI handling. Benefits and shift differentials apply; strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or Chemistry; preferred.
• 1 year of histopathology, cytology, or other laboratory experience.
• Experience handling PHI with LIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize samples for testing, including racking and aliquoting.
• Label, handle, transport, and store specimens.
• Identify sample problems and assist in resolution with licensed personnel.
• Prepare testing equipment and assist with preventive maintenance and documentation.
• Maintain accurate reagent records and inventory of lab supplies.
• Sort and accession incoming specimens into LIS and ensure proper routing.
