Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Associate II in Cleveland, OH, working Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. This role supports the laboratory with sample preparation, labeling, storage, and data entry, ensuring accurate processing and documentation.

The position requires 1 year of lab experience and may offer annual bonus eligibility. Shift differential may apply for second/third shifts, with a competitive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of histopathology, cytology or other laboratory experience.
• 1 year of experience handling PHI and other patient information using a Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Chemistry preferred; HS diploma accepted with lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing.
• Labels, handles, and stores specimens.
• Assists licensed personnel in pre-analytic and post-analytic testing activities.
• Performs data entry and creates records of reagents or media.
• Maintains inventory of reagents and supplies and restocks as needed.
• Trains other Lab Associates and supports training programs.
