The Special Assets Relationship Manager will assume responsibility for the collections, restructuring, and relationship management of problem CRE and C&I loans with exposure up to $10,000,000 within the real estate or commercial lending portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze cash flows, financial statements, and collateral to determine the most effective strategy to maximize collection amounts and timeliness.
• Recommend collection strategies to management and execute them. Maintain regular contact with borrowers and/or guarantors, recommend legal actions if necessary, and ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Maintain collection and account updates through Problem Loan Reports.
• Recommend non-accrual and charge off for managed loans.
• Communicate with CPAs, attorneys, and business leaders.
• Provide monthly reports to management and external communications on legal matters.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years' experience in commercial workout or banking, especially in CRE workouts, with direct customer contact.
• Thorough understanding of commercial lending industry and legal matters such as foreclosures and bankruptcies.
• Strong credit risk analysis skills.
• Proficiency in PC applications, Microsoft Office, NCino, and other data platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
