Job description

A Coperion Industry Manager's main role is to promote all Coperion equipment to all existing and potential customers and seek out new opportunities for Coperion Pharma equipment and integrated systems supply primarily within the Pharmaceutical Industry but also in other industries where there are suitable applications for the equipment such as - Nutraceutical and Consumer Health within North America, Canada and Puerto Rico

Primary focus is finding new opportunities and then working together with the technical team to maximise Coperions's chance to win the order.

To Manage and work with SI (Sales Intermediaries) in North America.

To Manage other SI's within the American Continent

* Achieve a target of 20 million in new opportunities per year

* Achieve a conversion rate of 20%

* Liaise directly with customers to offer best in class process solutions.

* Directly service and motivate sales Agents to attain established goals.

* Work with the Director of Sales to ensure the initiatives and strategies of the Business Unit are carried out.

* Closely monitor status of project pipeline and develop/implement strategy for closing orders.

* Work with the After Sales Department to ensure the correct 2-way flow of information between Customer.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Coperion products, policies and goals.

* Conduct a continuing program of self-improvement knowledge relative to these duties, advancements, and related areas.

* Directly participate and formulate market / customer penetration plan in assigned territory or markets.

* Coordinate the creation of quotations, ensuring the accuracy of quoted equipment selection, pricing, and commercial terms.

* Review all contracts for acceptance and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

* Participate in trade shows and sales seminars for Agents and customers.

* Manage and be fully responsible for demo equipment used in assigned territory.

* Travel as needed, approximately 40 - 60%

* Undertake product training at all Designated Coperion manufacturing sites as required.

* Always maintain company CRM System up to date.
