Job summary

The U.S. Secret Service is seeking Special Agents to join a dual mission of criminal investigations and protection, safeguarding the nation's financial integrity and its leaders, including the President and Vice President. Agents may serve at multiple duty stations across the country and abroad.

Candidates must meet stringent requirements, including U.S. citizenship, TOP SECRET clearance, REAL ID compliance, and a successful completion of extensive training at FLETC and the James J.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required and TOP SECURITY clearance will be obtained.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license and REAL ID compliance.
• Age 21 minimum, up to birthday before 40; mobility agreements required.
• Background checks include drug testing and credit checks when qualified.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex criminal investigations into financial crimes including counterfeiting and cyber fraud.
• Provide physical protection for the President, Vice President, families, and protectees.
• Plan and implement security measures for National Special Security Events (NSSEs).
