Job summary

The U.S. Secret Service is seeking Special Agents to fulfill a dual mission of criminal investigations and protection, safeguarding the financial integrity of the United States and protecting the President, Vice President, and other designated individuals.

Special Agents have opportunities to work on diverse assignments across the country and around the globe, receiving extensive training and advancing through challenging roles within a prestigious agency.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required
• Top-Secret Clearance required
• Must be at least 21 years old at time of application
• Mobility agreement to assignments domestically and overseas
• Drug testing prior to appointment and random testing during employment
• Automatic credit check after initial qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex criminal investigations into financial crimes including counterfeiting and cyber fraud.
• Provide physical protection for the President, Vice President, and other protectees.
• Design, plan, and implement security measures for National Special Security Events (NSSEs) such as inaugurations and summits.
