Job summary

Clare-Gladwin RESD is seeking a Site Supervisor for Harrison Middle School in Michigan, supporting SPARKS/Ignite with part-time hours (12–16 per week) and after-school coverage Monday–Thursday. Compensation ranges from $24.24 to $36.48 per hour, depending on certifications.

The role leads daily program operations, oversees frontline staff, and ensures safety, compliance, and ongoing reporting, while collaborating with school partners to sustain a positive program culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching certificate preferred.
• Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage program logistics, safety protocols, and student behavior.
• Familiar with youth development practices.
• Criminal background check required.

Job Objective

The Site Supervisor will perform site leadership duties that include support of frontline staff, oversee program quality, and support a positive program culture. The Site Supervisor will lead and manage daily program operations and ensure program effectiveness by supervising staff, coordinating activities, and communicating with school partners to uphold all safety, compliance, and reporting standards. The Site Coordinator will provide support and guidance.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Valid Teaching Certificate preferred
• Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage program logistics, safety protocols, and student behavior.
• Familiar with youth development practices.
• As a condition of employment employee must pass a criminal background check.
