Job summary

Clare-Gladwin RESD is seeking an Activity Leader for Sparks/Ignite at Beaverton Elementary School, Beaverton Junior/Senior High School, and Harrison Middle School. The role is after school, 2.75 hours per day, with 2 or 4 days per week sessions to support positive youth development.

Wages are $16.48 per hour, starting as soon as possible with orientation prior to start. Requires reliable attendance and passing a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels preferred.
• Ability to lead and supervise activities and maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment.
• Reliable attendance. As a condition of employment employee must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead afterschool activities for sessions of 15 students or less.
• Create engaging, safe, and inclusive program sessions based on student interests and goals.
• Collaborate with site leaders to plan activities and projects.

Work Days

Job Objective

The Activity Leader will generally work with sessions of 15 students or less and will lead safe, engaging, and inclusive afterschool activities that promote positive youth development and support student growth. Site leaders will assist the Activity Leader in creating appropriate program session activities and projects based on student interest and program goals.
