Job summary

S&ME invites you to join the 2027 Spark Summer Intern program in Civil/Environmental/Construction/Geotechnical Engineering in Greenville, SC. You will work alongside experienced professional-owners within your area of interest and be part of an intern cohort to learn all aspects of S&ME.

Open to current students from a variety of educational backgrounds; internship runs May 2027 through August 2027 with competitive pay based on experience. Housing not provided; visa assistance not offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred;
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred;
• At least 18 years of age;
• Out of town travel may be required;
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required;
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn about all aspects of S&ME within your area of interest.
• Work alongside experienced professional-owners and interns in a cohort.
• Gain hands-on experience and access to technical experts across the company.
