Job summary

System-Logistic in Arden, NC is seeking a Parts Strategy & Operations Manager to lead spare parts inventory strategy, improve inventory accuracy, and optimize ERP-based processes to support customer satisfaction and working capital.

The role requires strong SAP experience, cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Service, and Finance, plus a track record of continuous improvement in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, materials management, spare parts operations, or related functions.
• Extensive experience working within an ERP environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Experience collaborating across multiple departments in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute spare parts inventory strategies balancing service levels, uptime, and inventory investment.
• Lead inventory planning, replenishment, forecasting, and optimization initiatives across the parts organization.
• Utilize SAP to manage inventory, purchasing, material movements, reporting, and controls.
• Analyze inventory trends, stock levels, turns, service levels, and obsolete stock for data-driven decisions.
• Establish and maintain inventory accuracy programs, including cycle counting and auditing processes.
• Partner with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and Suppliers to ensure timely availability of critical parts.
• Support strategic initiatives related to warehouse operations, inventory management, and process improvement.
• Lead and develop team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
