Job summary

Glaston Corporation seeks a Spare Parts Associate to deliver responsive customer support across the spare parts cycle. You will identify parts, prepare quotations, enter orders in SAP, and keep customers updated through delivery and issue resolution.

You will research records, verify pricing and lead times, coordinate with engineering and procurement, and source parts from local suppliers when needed. Strong English, SAP experience, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in business, logistics, or a technical field is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical parts sales or spare parts support is required.
• Experience coordinating across customer service, sales, purchasing, engineering, warehouse, and finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts requests from inquiry through shipment, confirming part identification, pricing, availability, lead times, order accuracy, and follow-up.
• Research equipment records, serial numbers, bills of material, manuals, drawings, and prior order history to identify spare part requirements.
• Prepare quotations, enter orders in SAP, and maintain accurate customer, equipment, pricing, and order information.
• Provide timely support to customers and internal engineers by clarifying requests and coordinating follow-up through resolution.
• Cross-reference and source parts from approved local suppliers when standard items are unavailable.
• Monitor quotations, sales orders, backorders, and delivery commitments, and inform customers of status changes.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, warehouse, finance, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, returns, backorders, and urgent requirements.
• Develop knowledge of product offerings, configurations, and common components; assist with annual inventory process.
• Perform other related administrative duties as needed.
