Job summary

Magna Seating in Highland Park, MI, is seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator to manage inventory, procurement, storage, and availability of maintenance and production spare parts to support uninterrupted plant operations.

You will work closely with Maintenance, Production, and Suppliers to ensure critical spare parts are available while maintaining optimal stock levels and controlling costs. Proficiency in ERP/CMMS and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in inventory control or spare parts management.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive settings.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP/CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for maintenance and production spare parts.
• Monitor stock levels and set min/max requirements.
• Generate and track purchase requisitions and supplier orders.
• Coordinate with maintenance and suppliers to ensure timely parts availability.
• Update CMMS/ERP transactions and control documentation.
