Job summary

Magna Cosma International in New Hudson, MI seeks an experienced maintenance professional to manage robot and welding maintenance, purchasing, and data-driven cost analysis. This role requires strong MS Office skills, inventory control, and effective vendor coordination within a manufacturing setting.

The successful candidate will lead preventive maintenance initiatives, track KPIs, and collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics to ensure safety, quality, and uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' maintenance experience with robots and welding.
• Experience purchasing and dealing with outside vendors.
• Strong math skills for cost analysis and data interpretation.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience in inventory management and understanding lead times, min/max, reorder levels.
• Experience setting up and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program (PM).
• Strong listening and written/verbal communication; able to present effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
• Issue work orders and ensure parts availability.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance and Production Planning.
• Track maintenance-related KPIs (OA, OEE, MTTR, MTBF).
• Order and track equipment and facility spare parts.
• Work with vendors on delivery lead times and optimize stock levels.
• Maintain communication with all departments to meet targets.
