Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist (Spanish speaking) in Adelphi, MD. The role is a contract position with a potential path to permanency, working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and compliant handling per procedure with OSHA standards. Minimum qualifications include a phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and a HS

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures; explain venipuncture clearly to patients.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles; ensure test requisitions match specimens.
• Package specimens for transport; store samples by required temperature; label and document accordingly.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings; answer inquiries from results.
