Job summary

UW Credit Union’s East Side branch in Madison, WI is hiring a Spanish-Bilingual Peak-Time Teller. As a part-time teller, you will serve members with enthusiasm, perform a variety of transactions, and help meet their financial needs.

The role emphasizes problem solving, learning quickly, and teamwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of customer service, and the ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the East Side branch location.
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Research teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals.
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations.
