Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Patient Service Coordinator in New Jersey. You will serve as the link between patients, providers, and insurers, handling insurance verification, prior authorizations, referrals, and scheduling to keep the care journey smooth.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1–2 years in customer service (healthcare preferred), and Spanish language proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Spanish speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and billing units while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Verify insurance coverage and manage benefits as needed.
• Obtain authorizations and/or prior authorizations.
• Oversee over-the-counter collections and reconcile charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal departments.
