Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Hospital Based Bilingual Patient Advocate for full-time onsite work (Tue–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM). You will meet patients in their hospital rooms, assess eligibility for Medicaid and other programs, complete applications, and coordinate with hospital staff to enroll uninsured patients efficiently.

Fluency in Spanish is required; strong communication, empathy, and attention to detail are essential to guide patients through complex financial

Qualifications

• Some college coursework preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Adaptability with changing processes and programs.
• Experience with state and federal programs.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside for eligibility for federal/state programs.
• Complete applications and follow through until approved.
• Document cases accurately in Elevate PFS and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Maintain work queue of patient accounts and coordinate with staff.
• Communicate with hospital staff, case managers, and social workers.
• Assist with gathering reports, meeting dates, and transportation if needed.
• Conduct in-person visits to collect documentation as required.
• Inform clients of approvals/denials per protocol and stay current with rules.
