Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, and collaborate with a supportive team.

Training is provided, and daily tasks involve physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay Range: $19 - $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Monitor and support children during activities, handling physical tasks as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and participate in training.
