Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, following BCBA-guided behavior plans and using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and a team-based approach. Training is provided; lifting up to 50 pounds is sometimes required, and you will earn $19–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test required.
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with data collection.
• Collaborate with a team to support each child and their family.
