Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA, focusing on communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Training is provided; roles involve physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test (within last year).
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in varied positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
