Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you can contribute from day one and grow within a supportive team focused on meaningful outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
