Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions guided by a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Coaching and training are provided, with a focus on patient, compassionate teamwork. Applicants should be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking as needed during sessions.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support generalization across settings
