Job summary

Centria Healthcare in California is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism on a one-to-one basis, under the supervision of a BCBA. You'll implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress under supervision.
