Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one to implement individualized plans and help children learn communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

This role requires patience, teamwork, and compassion; training will be provided to prepare you for meaningful, everyday impact on the children and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within past year).
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor and document child progress and behavior.
