Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Portland, OR to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and maintain a patient, team-oriented approach.

This role includes training provided by Centria, with a focus on helping children reach their full potential, and requires comfort with lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
