Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in Oregon City. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based strategies to build communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role offers training, opportunities to grow, and a collaborative team environment. You will be standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team and BCBA to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
