Job summary

Centria Autism in Portland, OR is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain patience and teamwork in a dynamic environment.
