Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy in Atlanta is seeking a Spanish-speaking Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA therapy in a 1:1 and small group setting under BCBA supervision. Candidates must be certified or willing to complete the 40-hour training and RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment.

Pay range is $19-$25 per hour. The role requires data recording on mobile devices, reliable transportation, and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to participate in background checks.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification or obtain it.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong patience, emotional control, and cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follow prescribed ABA protocols from the treatment plan.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as directed.
• Maintain safe, organized therapy environment.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
• Perform safety protocols and report incidents.
