Job summary

You will provide consecutive interpretation onsite, with optional remote interpretation by phone or video, while upholding confidentiality and professional standards. This independent contract role requires 1+ year interpreting experience and English/Spanish proficiency, plus the ability to travel to assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in both English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Résumé in English required during application process.
• High school diploma or equivalent education/experience as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation onsite between English and Spanish.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements.
