Welocalize is seeking a Spanish Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join a long-term project. You will ensure localized content reads naturally, is accurate, and polished for end users, while executing test cases and reporting localization bugs.

Qualifications

• Native-level Spanish proficiency is required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
• Experience reporting bugs and issues through bug-tracking tools.
• Ability to execute test cases and follow testing instructions precisely.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Write and report bugs and errors using internal bug-tracking systems.
• Follow testing instructions and test cases to QA products.
• Evaluate translations within software, mobile apps, and docs.
• Review localized content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency.
• Research linguistic issues and resolve questions related to Spanish (Spain).
• Adhere to client glossaries, style guides, and QA standards.
• Translate content from English to Spanish when needed.
• Complete tasks with quality and timeliness.
