Job summary

Welocalize, Inc. is seeking a Linguistic QA Tester to proofread and edit localized content in your native language, ensuring grammar, punctuation, and consistency. You may translate content from English to your language and will also verify UI localization and report defects.

You will need native-level fluency, strong English skills, and comfort with MS Office and various browsers. On-site work or client-location opportunities are available in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Native-level or bilingual fluency in target language.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit localized content for grammar, typos, punctuation, and style.
• Translate content from English to the target language as needed.
• Check UI localization and report defects using bug tracking tools.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate issues clearly.
• Research and resolve linguistic questions as a subject matter expert.
• Escalate testing issues and adhere to client glossaries and standards.
