Hanna Interpreting Services LLC - Freelance Interpreter Role

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider connecting bilingual and multilingual individuals with interpreting and translation opportunities. Our mission is to bridge communication gaps through excellent and compassionate language services.

We are seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals for freelance interpreter roles as 1099 Independent Contractors. As an interpreter, you contribute to society by supporting language access for all, regardless of English proficiency. You can set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule.

Appointments are available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, but are not guaranteed and depend on demand. Interpreters earn $25 - $35 per hour, based on language, experience, and demand.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and target language, with understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns
• Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings
• Professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate basic communication tools
• Flexibility to work in various settings
• Located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or certification in interpreting or related fields
