We are hiring hourly interpreters to work from home!

Provide interpreting services via telephone to our customers and their clients, all from the comfort of your home.

We serve clients across the country and offer over 240 languages and dialects. Our interpreters are valued highly; beyond their expertise, we prioritize their job satisfaction and their ability to support their families.

Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

1. Facilitate understanding in communication by faithfully interpreting into the target language everything being said without adding, omitting, or changing anything.
2. Maintain impartiality, showing no bias or preference toward either party while interpreting.
3. Interpret in the first person at all times, clarifying when necessary (informing both parties) and maintaining confidentiality, adhering to the code of ethics for interpreters.
4. Be aware of your own culture and other cultures encountered during duties, explaining cultural differences when appropriate.
5. Preserve and improve interpreting skills and ethical performance continuously, demonstrating the highest level of customer service to clients and their customers.

Qualifications required:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional interpreting experience.
• Must be located in the US and authorized to work as an employee.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondences.
• Effective in presenting information one-on-one and in small groups to customers, clients, and colleagues.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time employee with a dedicated schedule.
• Hourly Rate: $17-$20 (subject to experience, training, education, and location; some situations may vary outside this range).
