Tierra Encantada - Old Irving Park in Chicago is hiring for a Center Float. The position is full-time, nonexempt, Monday through Friday with flexible hours by classroom assignment.

The starting pay range is $17.31–$19.04 per hour, depending on education and experience. As a Float, you will assist classrooms, help with cleaning, kitchen tasks, and daily routines, support teachers, and help maintain safety and operations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• CDA or equivalent credential preferred.
• Food handling and CPR/First Aid certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in multiple classrooms and with daily routines.
• Help with cleaning, kitchen tasks, and diaper washing.
• Support teachers and ensure safety and center operations.
• Cover breaks and openings as needed; communicate with staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
