Job summary

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists in Pittsburg, CA is seeking an HR professional to oversee local HR requirements in partnership with leadership, including performance management, employee relations, recruitment, safety/compliance, payroll and benefits coordination.

This role collaborates with the Corporate HR team, protects confidentiality, administers leaves of absence, and supports workers' comp filings while promoting a respectful and collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Preferably bilingual Spanish.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience overseeing Human Resources.
• Minimum of High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Payroll experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all local HR requirements in partnership with the leadership team, including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Associate Engagement, Community Giving, Recruiting, Safety/Compliance, and some Payroll and Benefits responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Human Resources team to ensure alignment.
• Maintain confidentiality of business and personnel information.
• Manage local payroll processes in collaboration with the Payroll Manager, utilizing Dayforce for Time and Attendance Programs.
• Handle new hire, termination, and payroll change paperwork for all employees.
• Recruit and hire production associate workers.
• Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities and maintain the local Community Giving program.
• Administer benefits, including disseminating benefit packets and assisting with Benefits Open Enrollment
• Responsible for all Leave of Absence administration, including FMLA, PLOA and MLOA, as well as on-site coordinator for Workers Comp filings.
• Assist in the compliance and posting requirements of our safety program with the Leadership Team
