Job summary

ImageFIRST in Cortland, NY is seeking an experienced HR leader to oversee local HR requirements, payroll, benefits, and employee relations, partnering with the Corporate HR team to ensure alignment.

You will manage leave, recruitment, and employee engagement programs, maintain confidentiality, and help drive a safe, compliant workplace within the healthcare linen services industry.

Qualifications

• Preferably bilingual Spanish.
• Minimum 5 years' experience overseeing Human Resources.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Payroll experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local HR requirements in partnership with leadership.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR to ensure alignment.
• Maintain confidentiality of business and personnel information.
• Manage local payroll processes using Dayforce Time and Attendance.
• Handle new hire, termination, and payroll change paperwork for all employees.
• Recruit and hire production associate workers.
• Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities and Community Giving.
• Administer benefits and assist with Open Enrollment.
• Responsible for Leave of Absence administration (FMLA/PLOA/MLOA) and Workers Comp coordination.
• Assist in safety program compliance and postings.

COMPENSATION

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all local HR requirements in partnership with the leadership team, including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Associate Engagement, Community Giving, Recruiting, Safety/Compliance, and some Payroll and Benefits responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Human Resources team to ensure alignment.
• Maintain confidentiality of business and personnel information.
• Manage local payroll processes in collaboration with the Payroll Manager, utilizing Dayforce for Time and Attendance Programs.
• Handle new hire, termination, and payroll change paperwork for all employees.
• Recruit and hire production associate workers.
• Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities and maintain the local Community Giving program.
• Administer benefits, including disseminating benefit packets and assisting with Benefits Open Enrollment
• Responsible for all Leave of Absence administration, including FMLA, PLOA and MLOA, as well as on-site coordinator for Workers Comp filings.
• Assist in the compliance and posting requirements of our safety program with the Leadership Team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably bilingual Spanish
• Minimum of 5 years' of experience overseeing Human Resources
• Minimum of High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
• Payroll experience is preferred but not required
