NuAxis Innovations seeks an experienced SPAMIS Operations Manager to lead payroll, accounting and related operations supporting the U.S. Department of Labor Job Corps Student Payroll Allotment Management Information System.

Qualifications

• CPA experience in audit and tax accounting with supervisory responsibility.
• 10+ years across payroll, accounting, governmental accounting, audits and financial reporting.
• 10 years with procurement requirements and FAR compliance.
• Technical-writing capability for financial, procurement and related documents.
• Experience with electronic banking processes and setup.
• MS Access, Word and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead SPAMIS student payroll and accounting operations.
• Oversee daily financial activity and final quality-control for funds transfers and GL entries.
• Manage biweekly student payroll, allotments and related payments.
• Ensure accurate bank and tax reconciliations.
• Oversee financial reporting and quarterly SPAMIS statements.
• Control EFTs, checks, W-2s and inquiries with proper documentation.
• Coordinate payroll verification with DOL/OIG audits.
• Maintain auditable records of federal funds for JCDC.
• Oversee procurement and Other Direct Cost administration per regulations.
• Support FAR compliance and related financial/procurement activities.
