Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the Shipping and Receiving team at the Spaceport's location. You will receive, inspect, and document receipts using the ERP system, ensure proper storage, and communicate discrepancies to leadership.

The role involves safely loading/unloading items, handling hazardous materials per regulations, preparing flight hardware for shipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience.
• Deltek Costpoint and Government Property/Inventory experience are a plus.
• ERP experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document receipts using the ERP system; understand storage and handling procedures.
• Visually inspect deliveries for damage and notify management of discrepancies.
• Safely load/unload items using lifts, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
• Prepare hazardous materials and Government Furnished Property for shipment per standards.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate with team members to respond to priorities and needs.
• Review daily workload and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Conduct physical verification and cyclic inventories as needed.
