SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to provide expert support for Cape Canaveral infrastructure projects. You will develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs, perform hazard analyses, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations while collaborating with launch engineers to enable safe operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety disciplines design and oversight.

Responsabilités

Develop and maintain regulatory compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and other agencies.
Perform hazard assessments and implement health and safety policies.
Monitor exposures and advise on remedial actions as needed.
Collaborate with launch engineers to review complex hazardous operations for safe execution.
Lead investigations and corrective actions for incidents.
Develop and maintain safety programs (OSHA, NFPA 70E, confined space, lock-out/tag-out).
Inspect facilities and equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Create safety contingency plans for fires, spills, etc.
