Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking experienced Technicians to join our hypergol test stand operations team in Van Horn, TX. You will contribute to the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of liquid rocket engine test systems using hypergolic propellants, performing complex tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include test facility construction, system checkouts, wiring, and integration work.

Qualifications

• Experience in rocket or jet engine testing or test facility support.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on complex tasks.
• Proficiency in fluid systems, pneumatics, and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Capability to safely operate hand tools and shop fabrication equipment.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment medical physical and fitness assessment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to test facility construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Execute test stand procedures with high reliability and minimal supervision.
• Perform test article integration and system checkouts.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Operate forklifts and equipment to work at elevated heights.
• Safely work with hypergolic propellants and high-pressure systems.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, valves, leaks, and other system components.
