Job summary

Blue Origin in Van Horn, TX seeks an experienced Technician to join the hypergol test stand operations team. You will contribute to the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of liquid rocket engine test systems using hypergolic propellants.

Responsibilities include assembling, wiring, checking procedures, and mentoring junior technicians. You will work with peers and engineers to design concepts, safely operate PPE, and support emergency response and training tasks while

Qualifications

• Experience in rocket/test facility operations or similar field.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on complex tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to test facility construction, operation, and maintenance
• Execute test stand procedures with high reliability and minimal supervision
• Perform test article integration and system checkouts
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
• Safely work with hypergolic propellants and high-pressure fluid systems
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, valves, leaks, and other system components
• Plan and communicate assembly steps for complex mechanical installations
